Pre-ordering & Despatch Information
When will my order be despatched if I’m NOT pre-ordering?Our orders are despatched when all products are available. As we hold most products in stock, this does not normally cause a delay. Occasionally though products do go out of stock (usually due to factors beyond our control), and in these instances we may choose to split the order into more than one shipment, so as not to delay further the delivery of the other products ordered.
So what is 'pre-ordering' exactly?
When we offer a product for pre-order it means the item can be ordered before it’s release date. This guarantees the customer a copy as soon as possible once it’s released. We also make ‘signed’ pre-order offers from time to time, where releases are signed by the artist.
How does pre-ordering affect the despatch of my order?
If you add a pre-order product to other already released products in your shopping basket, your order will not be despatched until we have stock of the pre-ordered product - this would usually be its release date.
To stop the pre-ordered product delaying the despatch of the other products, simply make two orders - one for the pre-order product, and another for the other products.
The same applies if you order more than one pre-order product - the order will not be despatched until we have stock of all the items - this would usually be the latest release date out of all the products pre-ordered.
So if you want each pre-ordered product to be despatched as it becomes available, then simply make separate orders for each.
