Camino Album MP3s
Camino tracks are standard MP3 files that are compatible with ALL
computers, iPods and MP3 players (unlike AAC format (with Fairplay DRM)
offered on iTunes or Microsoft’s WMA format)
The files will appear as a zip archive (for example: wildorchidsse.zip) - please
unzip and then place the mp3 files in your desired location on your
computer.
Unlike other services, Camino does not require you to install any proprietary software.
Camino MP3 tracks are very high quality, encoded with the renowned
codec LAME using the 192 Bit Rate setting. The LAME encoder is widely
acknowledged to give the best sound quality while maintaining
manageable file sizes.
Finally, Camino files have no ‘DRM’ or copy protection built in. We
believe that most people like to be treated as customers and not
potential criminals - DRM is easily circumvented and just puts
obstacles in the way of enjoying music.
Buying music through Camino rather than illegal networks means that you
are supporting the artists, and you are getting music encoded by the
artists themselves. All your purchased files are correctly tagged and
labelled with as much information as possible, and are the real deal!
